Cavitron SlimLINE FITGRIP Ultrasonic Inserts were evaluated by 44 consultants in 1,261 uses. The ultrasonic insert received a 91% clinical rating.
Description
The FITGRIP feature of Cavitron Ultrasonic Inserts is designed to improve comfort and performance with its ergonomic design. The one-piece design of the insert, a large grip diameter, and a rippled texture and unique shape are designed to lessen muscle load and pinch force while decreasing the chance of slipping during a procedure. The SlimLINE Ultrasonic Insert is designed to remove light to moderate deposit. The shape of the tip adapts around line angles of teeth and provides subgingival and interproximal access. The inserts have Focused Spray technology for increased efficiency with less water spray, greater visibility and improved patient comfort.
Product Features
The FITGRIP is comfortable to hold with its soft surface and textured grip that eliminates slipping. Calculus removal was reported to be efficient with the SlimLINE insert; the thin, angled tip reached subgingivally and into interproximal areas. The focused water spray decreases the volume of water necessary and improves visibility. The larger diameter of the FITGRIP feature decrease hand fatigue for most users, but the bulkiness impeded access in some cases.
