1.     What information do we collect, and how do we collect it?

Deletion Request
You can request that we delete your personal information that we collected from you to the extent required under CCPA and subject to certain exceptions. We retain personal information to service your account, to comply with applicable laws and regulations and other permissible purposes. That means we may not be able to delete all of your personal information, including your purchase history, since we sell federally regulated products under very strict guidelines.

Right to Opt-Out
You have the right to request to opt-out from future “sales” of your personal information. To do so, please visit our "Do Not Sell My Information" (https://www.safcodental.com/landing/do-not-sell-my-personal-information-california/) page. The law defines “sale” very broadly to include simply making data available to third parties in some cases. We let advertising and analytics companies collect IP addresses, and cookie IDs through our sites and apps when you use our website. We also disclose personal information to the companies that provide products and services to our members for their own marketing purposes as described above (see “Sharing of Information” section above). If you do not wish for us to “sell” your personal information to other companies as defined under the CCPA, you can opt out and exercise your Do Not Sell My Information rights by contacting us using the methods below.

You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require the agent to provide proof you have authorized that person to act on your behalf, and we will need you to verify your identity directly with us. Further, to provide or delete specific pieces of personal information we will need to verify your identity to the degree of certainty required by law.

We may deny certain requests, or fulfill a request only in part, based on our legal rights and obligations. For example, we may retain personal information as permitted by law, such as for tax or other record keeping purposes, to maintain an active account, and to process transactions and facilitate customer requests. We will not include employment related information in fulfilling your request.

5.     Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics ("GA") for aggregated, anonymized website traffic analysis. In order to track your session usage, Google drops a cookie (_ga) with a randomly-generated ClientID in your browser. This ID is anonymized and contains no identifiable information like email, phone number, name, etc. We also send Google your IP Address. We use GA to track aggregated website behavior, such as what pages you looked at, for how long, and so on. This information is important to us for improving the user experience and determining site effectiveness. If you would like to access what browsing information we have - or ask us to delete any GA data - please delete your _ga cookies, reach out to us via this form, and/or install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.

6.     Reviews, Comments & Submissions

Safco welcomes your reviews, comments, and other communications, photos, videos, or any other content that you submit through or to the Site, or any content or information you publish through any social media and allow Safco to feature, such as your name, username, social media handle, accompanying text, and any images from your social media accounts (e.g. Twitter™, Instagram™, Pinterest™) (collectively, "User Content") as long as the User Content submitted by you complies with the following Terms & Conditions.

You agree that any User Content: will be accurate; will not violate or facilitate the violation of any law or regulation; will not violate any right of a third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights; will not cause injury to any person or entity; and will not contain, or provide links to, obscene, profane, or threatening language, malware, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, any form of "spam", or any material that could be considered harmful, sexually explicit, indecent, lewd, violent, abusive, or degrading. You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit, and Safco assumes no liability for any User Content submitted by you. You acknowledge and agree that we reserve the right (but have no obligation) to do any or all of the following, in our sole discretion: (i) monitor User Content; (ii) alter, remove, or refuse to post or allow to be posted any User Content; and/or (iii) disclose any User Content, and the circumstances surrounding its transmission, to any third party. For any User Content you submit, you grant to Safco a non-exclusive, sub-licensable, fully paid-up, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, display, perform, transmit, copy, modify, delete, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, sell and distribute such User Content and to incorporate the User Content into any form, medium, or technology, now known or hereafter developed, throughout the world, all without compensation to you. For this reason, do not send us any User Content that you do not wish to license to us, including any confidential information or any original creative materials such as stories, product ideas, computer code or original artwork. In addition, you grant to Safco the right to include the name and/or username provided along with the User Content submitted by you; provided, however, Safco shall have no obligation to include such name with such User Content. We are not responsible for the use or disclosure of any personal information that you voluntarily disclose in connection with any User Content you submit. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary for you to grant the licenses granted in this section, including but not limited to permission from or on behalf of any individuals that appear in the User Content to use, and grant to third parties such as Safco the right to use, their name, image, voice and/or likeness without compensation to you or any other person or entity. You further irrevocably waive any "moral rights" or other rights with respect to attribution of authorship or integrity of materials regarding User Content that you may have under any applicable law under any legal theory.

You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the User Content that you post; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that you will indemnify Safco for all claims resulting from content you supply.

Content is also provided by third party visitors to the Site. Please note that Site visitors may post content that is inaccurate, misleading, or deceptive. Safco neither endorses nor is responsible for any opinion, advice, information, or statements made by third parties. The opinions expressed by third parties reflect solely the opinions of the individuals who submitted such opinions and may not reflect the opinions of Safco.

Safco takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any User Content posted by you or any third party.


7.     What choices do you have?

When corresponding with Safco or our representatives, or when making a request for information or otherwise interacting with us or others through the Site, you choose what information to supply, what questions or comments to submit, whether you wish to receive further information, and by what method of communication such information should be delivered. Please take care to share only such information as is needed or that you believe is appropriate. You are under no obligation to provide us with personally identifiable information, but without it we may not be able to provide you the products or services you request. 8.     How do we protect information collected about you?

Safco and our Contractors have in place certain commercially reasonable security measures to protect Collected Information, but the storage and communication of Collected Information can never be completely secure. Hence we do not guarantee that information that you transmit or otherwise supply to us, or any communications conducted on or through the Site, is or will be totally secure. If you become aware of any breach of Site security, or this Privacy Policy, please notify us immediately.

9.     We may change this Notice. From time to time, we may change our privacy practices, and this Privacy Policy, because of changes in relevant and applicable legal or regulatory requirements, in our business practices, or in our attempts to better serve your needs and those of our other customers. Notice of such changes to our privacy practices, and any revision to this Privacy Policy will be posted on the Site.

10.     Separate Agreement. If you have entered into a separate agreement with Safco with respect to the use of the Site or any Collected Information, that agreement will supersede this Privacy Policy to the extent they are in conflict.
