Prevent a “dental office down” day while ensuring your HVE tips reduce aerosols with proper dental evacuation maintenance. When suction or vacuum systems don’t actually “suck,” it is a more significant issue for the practice. Protecting the patients and the team from aerosols is essential to your infection control protocols. Many dental practitioners focus heavily on suction tips, particularly those that are comfortable to use, are budget-friendly, and are easy to handle—but properly maintaining the suction and evacuation system is much higher on the importance scale. If the system is not maintained correctly, it can mean the vacuum system doesn’t work properly or at all, resulting in a “dental office down” day.
