How to use for root-tip Removal:

1. Grasp the broken root or fragment with the forceps.
2. Use a serrated periotome to remove any remaining ligaments
3. Luxate to loosen and remove.

How to use for post removal:

1. Lock the forceps on an exposed post.
2. Use an ultrasonic tip in the neck of the instrument.
3. Carefully increase settings from low to high.
4. Vibrations from the ultrasonic tip begin to crack the cement.
5. Luxate carefully to remove the post as the bonds crack.

Laschal instruments are guaranteed for life against rust, rivet loosening, and breakage when used for indicated applications. For these defects, Laschal will repair or replace the instrument at its discretion without charge. Cutting edges, carbide inserts and Castro-Viejo needle holder locking mechanisms are guaranteed for two years. Other conditions apply (see below).
