In just a few seconds, these fast and easy units complete most surface roughening procedures. Both models feature a stainless steel handpiece, replaceable carbide tips, and 2 empty abrasive jars for rapid abrasive change.
The “A” in the MicroEtcher IIA stands for “autoclavable” and is best used intraorally. Only the nozzle is autoclavable on the MicroEtcher II. Both units feature a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.
MicroEtcher uses:
- Etch metals, composites, and amalgam.
- Prep pit and fissure restorations.
- Prep incipient lesions and minor Class l and V.
- Debride bur preps for best esthetics & bonds.
- Prep orthodontic brackets and remove excess adhesive.
