Provided as a modular system of sterile, rotary NiTi instruments, HyFlex EDM files are characterized by their exceptional flexibility. In contrast to traditional NiTi files, they exhibit almost no memory and can thus be pre-bent, providing a crucial advantage in extremely curved root canals to avoid the creation of ledging, transportation or perforation of a canal.
Following instrument sterilization, the files return to their original shape and achieve almost the same stability as a new file. This unmatched combination of flexibility and breakage resistance enables a significant reduction in the number of files used.
The HyFlex EDM OGSF Sequence offers a tailor-made solution for fast and reliable preparation of simple as well as complex root canal anatomies. The sequence includes an orifice opener, glidepath, shaping and finishing file. The defined treatment procedure makes the preparation easy and keeps the learning curve short. Due to the optimized match of tip sizes and tapers, the files provide a smooth feeling when shifting from one file to another and help you to keep control over the treatment.
